    That is interesting indeed. I find it interesting how the reaction of the black community is one of suspicion where the white community backs one of their own. Sounds like the reaction many muslims might have to a muslim public figure supported by non-muslims.

    In fairness, I don’t think their reaction is as much one of suspicion as it is an inability to relate. Obama grew up in Hawaii & Indonesia and attended private schools. He simply doesn’t share the heritage of most African-Americans in the US.
